Plant spacing, sowing depth, pressing force and fertilizer rate can each be set independently, and every row unit follows the ground on its own. It can sow soybean–corn intercropping at 600–700 mm; corn is sown at 350–500 mm row spacing with hole spacing from 80 mm and fertilizer of at least 60 kg per mu, soybean at 300–400 mm row spacing, 80–120 mm hole spacing and at least 20 kg per mu.
