Walking Tractor Attachments: 15 Implements and Which Chassis They Fit
The real value of a two-wheel tractor is in its walking tractor attachments: one engine can plough, till, plant, mow, harvest and haul if you buy the right implements. This guide explains which attachments fit which chassis, what each one does and how to build a set that keeps the machine busy all year.

How Walking Tractor Implements Connect
A walking tractor (also called a two wheel tractor, hand tractor or power tiller) drives its wheels through a gearbox and has a rear hitch for trailed or mounted tools. Some implements, such as the rotary tiller, take drive from the tractor; others, such as ploughs, planters and the trailer, are simply pulled.
The key fact for buyers is the chassis. Shenghang walking tractors are built on three chassis sizes:
- 101 chassis – 8 to 13 hp, light work in gardens and vegetable beds.
- 121 chassis – 15 and 18 hp, the popular family-farm size.
- 151 chassis – 15 to 25 hp, heavy work in hard soil, paddy fields and transport; can be supplied with a rotary tiller.
Many walking tractor implements and two wheel tractor attachments fit all chassis; others are made specifically for 101/121 or 151. Always order attachments to match the chassis you have.

Tillage Attachments: Ploughs, Tillers and Ridgers
Rotary tiller. The most-used power tiller attachment. It breaks clods and mixes residue into a fine seedbed in one pass, ideal for vegetables and rice. The 151 version has more blades and a seat.
Share plough. A single or double mouldboard-type share turns the soil over and buries weeds. The heavy-duty double-share suits harder ground. This is the classic hand tractor plough for primary tillage.

Disc plough. Discs roll over roots and stones, so they cope better than shares with trashy or stony fields. Our disc plough vs mouldboard plough guide explains the difference in detail.

Ridger and trench digger. The SH-RG120 forms ridges for potatoes, sweet potatoes and vegetables; the trench digger cuts 25 × 25 cm channels for irrigation, drainage or cable laying. For four-wheel tractors, see our tractor disc ridgers.
Planting, Harvest and Transport: More Walking Tractor Attachments
Planters let a small farm sow accurately without hand labour: single or double-row corn planters, 4, 5 or 6-row wheat planters and a potato planter. The film-covering sprayer lays plastic mulch film over beds. At harvest, the two-disc mower cuts grass and forage, and the rice and wheat harvester mounts on the walking tractor for small fields.

Transport is often the attachment that pays back fastest. A walking tractor trailer carries harvest, feed and fertilizer to market and between fields. Besides the SH-TL2010, our trailer range includes 7SH walking tractor trailers rated 500, 1000 and 1500 kg with manual back tipping and a foot brake.

How to Match Walking Tractor Implements to HP, Farm Size and Soil
- Below 1 hectare, light soil: 8–13 hp on the 101 chassis with a rotary tiller, single-share plough and planter.
- 1–3 hectares: 15–18 hp on the 121 or 151 chassis with a tiller, double-share plough, ridger and trailer.
- Hard soil, paddy and transport work: 20–25 hp on the 151 chassis, the 151 rotary tiller, paddy wheels and a heavy-duty plough.
Our walking tractor buying guide covers engine choice in more detail, and the selection assistant lists models by horsepower.
Maintenance, Spare Parts and Common Mistakes
Grease pivots and wheel hubs, check the tiller gearbox oil, replace bent tiller blades in pairs and keep plough shares sharp. Clean implements after use and store them under cover. The most common buying mistakes are ordering a 151 implement for a 101/121 tractor (or the reverse), buying a wide tool for a small engine, forgetting paddy wheels for wet fields, and not ordering spare blades and shares with the first shipment.
Why Buy Direct from the Factory
Shenghang makes walking tractors and their implements in our factory in China and sells factory direct, with SH labelling, OEM options and export packing. A large wooden crate (SH-BX1411, 1400 × 1150 × 1150 mm) holds a walking tractor together with its implements, and we ship by sea, rail or air – see export and shipping. Small-scale mechanization like this is central to the FAO’s work on sustainable agricultural mechanization.

Walking Tractor Attachments FAQ
What attachments can you put on a walking tractor?
Our range includes rotary tillers, disc and share ploughs, a trench digger, ridgers, straw returning machines, paddy wheels, corn, wheat and potato planters, a film-covering sprayer, a disc mower, a rice and wheat harvester and a trailer.
Do two wheel tractor attachments fit every chassis?
No. Many fit all walking tractors, but the rotary tiller, disc plough, straw returning machine and SH-2P-151 plough have separate 101/121 and 151 versions.
Which hand tractor plough (plow) should I choose?
A share (mouldboard/moldboard) plough turns soil and buries weeds; a disc plough handles roots and stones better. Choose the heavy-duty double-share for hard ground.
Can you ship a walking tractor with implements in one crate?
Yes. Our SH-BX1411 wooden crate holds a walking tractor plus implements for export.
